As a private tutor and education consultant for the last decade, I have worked with over one hundred families whilst travelling all over the world to provide tuition, school advice and educational guidance. I have an in-depth knowledge of British and international schooling, which allows me to coach pupils and support families through any number of educational challenges, from managing school admissions in the UK to providing a full-time homeschool solution.
Prior to working in education, I was an investment banker at Dresdner Kleinwort in London. With a degree in Modern Languages from the University of Bristol, I joined the bank directly after graduation and worked for several years on the equities trading floor before setting up my private tuition business. Supporting young people - whilst engaging my passions for academic study, creative writing and all things educational - has proven even more fulfilling than I could have imagined at the time of my career change.
Working full-time as a London tutor, I quickly absorbed the nuances of different schools and educational systems - and found that a great number of my clients were seeking guidance as well as academic support. Expansion into schools consultancy was natural, especially as the beneficiary myself of an academic scholarship during my own school days in Surrey. I have endless appreciation for the opportunities that a rigorous and enriching education afforded me, and it is a privilege to spend my days working directly with schools and families who have that same goal in mind.
